The core mission of WETC-8 is to provide viewers with information about the Town of Weymouth, its municipal departments, and community organizations.

WETC-8 regularly broadcasts live Town Council and School Committee meetings. These meetings are re-aired throughout the week and are also available to watch On Demand.

Through documentary-style programs, we provide residents with knowledge about their town and community by highlighting important messages from community leaders. Series of note include the Mayor’s Monthly Forum, Lens On Learning, Police on Partnerships, Fire Showing, and Development Update.

Special Programs

Throughout points of the year, WETC-8 is on hand for a select number of events hosted by the Town of Weymouth. Some of these programs include the Weymouth High School Graduation and the Town of Weymouth’s Annual Holiday Celebration.
